Did I actually tell you guys that I have start my first job since this January? This was the real first job that is directly connect to my study of ACCA. I have started as an audit assistance in a small firm while I am still doing my ACCA as I really want to get out to the practical world and experience how an audit was actually done. Seriously, some said 'what you study is different from what you do in your work', but I can tell you that this statement can be true and false at the same time. I've learnt audit from ACCA and it is totally applicable in my audit work. On the opposite side, working do tell you some book theories may not applicable in the practical world. Sometime I do feel that ACCA syllabus is so much harder than practical work. Every single detail audit procedures I've learnt from P7 have gave me more than enough to actually apply in audit work. Anyone out there which was an expert of P7, YOU can definitely be a good audit manager/partner because P7 has taught you to be alert and action to be take when suspicion arise. Working as an auditor was really time consuming until you have to give up something, finished work at 9 or 10 pm already makes me suffocate and seriously I can't imagine hows the auditor in big firm is doing, work until 3 or 4 am in the morning? That is so crazy...
